Seems to be the norm for me these days. Go out on Friday, get to bed at daft-o-clock on Saturday, then shake until Monday. Doesn't help, me being an old bastard either.
I know what you mean Zico. I had a few drinks on Saturday night and woke up on Sunday feeling like I'd spent the night battering my head off a wall. Two extra-strength painkillers did little more than take the edge off it.
It was going so well. In the pub drinking Corona (I know where I am with that) Went to the dancing, banging tunes, thought I'd try the voddy n' red-bulls, went to a blurry party after, cider, wine, champagne... Still drunk when I woke up, thankfully in bed with the burd, and I hadn't pished myself
People who drink ANY alcohol or smoke or take drugs are absolute losers. Whats the point. Winners like me don't touch the stuff - my body and mind are temples
Never had a 2-day one yet and I'm 31............. what age do they kick in? I live in fear of it, the one-day ones are bad enough!
Just because your inbred family end up on the Jeremy Kyle show all the time doesn't mean everyone can't appreciate their booze and drugs. If I lived in Norwich I'd be on the smack straight away
I very rarely get hangovers anymore. 2 or 3 pints of water before bed, take 1 to bed with me and I'm fine the next day.
I'm 39, the bad stuff starts as soon as you have your first blackouts. If I stick to drinking lager I'm fine, I can get drunk and not blackout. It's they pesky shots and spirits that kick my **** in.
I reckon the mental effects are worse these days. The anxiety and paranoia last a couple of days, whereas I've usually shook off the bad head and guts by teatime the following day.
