Gills have resigned Adedeji Oshilaja on a season long loan - Excellent news! Gills have also secured the signing of Lee Martin who was a free transfer after being released by Millwall - Don't know much on this lad but from what I can see he is a good experienced player at Championship level who can cover a couple of positions so without knowing much in detail about him he seems a decent signing. I shall give Martin my support - but I do hope he's not been brought in as a substitute for Dack ! Martin has scored only 2 goals in his last 71 games. He failed to score in 10 (loan) appearances for a very successful Northampton side in league 2 last season ---- so --- he can only get better !
Excellent news to have secured Deji for another season. If he can get back to his form pre his injury last year, then we've got a formidable central defence with Max alongside him. Will have to wait and see with Martin. Plenty of the Wall fans don't particularly like him and were glad to see the back of him. Apparently he has a habit of being lazy and then starts whinging every time he gets substituted. Will have to wait and see but sounds a lot like Williamson last season who had similar comments from Vale fans.
