I know it's not the most reliable source but i've seen a lot of reports coming out that apparently Twente will sell us De Jong & Douglas for a combined £16million (£12m for De Jong & 4m for Douglas) I think if we offered them £15m up front they would take that, but would be giving up too much? Also it is reported that Junior Hoillet is likely to sign for either Reading or ourselves. His proposed move to Germany has fallen through. I'm presuming he would choose us over Reading and also if Best is going the other way that would negate some of the compensation that we would have to pay for him. I think he would be a really nice addition but I think we should concentrate on other needs first (Full-back) Finally Adam Johnson is supposed to be on the transfer list at City. Is he worth a punt at £10-15m? I really think with regular first team football he would thrive in the premier league. Saying that I would still prefer to get Hoillet for a lot less and his wages would presumably be a lot lower. As I said these are all stories from Twitter and need to be taken with a pinch of salt. Still imagine if by pre-season training starts we have added Debuchy Douglas Anita Hoillet De Jong I know they won't all happen, but i'm enjoying the positive feeling around everything we are doing at the moment.
