At 09.52 "Michael Padgett" said on "Twitter" that Tommy Rowe is on his way to T/A for medical, says it from a reliable source ( hope it's not" Tomato").
Anyway we will see in the fullness of time, if true wonder what we paid Peterbrough for him

Last night on twitter, we signed Rowe, resigned Beckford and were buying Elland Road and Thorpe Arch this week. Twitterers tend to get a little carried away. Thing is, there is some accurate stuff in there as well. I've always found Ben Jacobs spot on with the gfh stuff

When will the Beckford re-signing rumours end?! We don't want/need him!

Kiwi, why wouldn't we want a more or less guaranteed 20 goal a season player (assuming we play to his strengths)?

Ridiculous wage demands, approaching 30, never hit 20 goals in this league or even close. Sorry, but I just don't see why his name comes up every time. He did very well for us in league 1 and we'll always be grateful for him getting us out of there, but people are so quick to overlook his flaws. Beyond lazy, horrific first touch, often erratic finishing. I love him as much as the next Leeds fan for what he did, but I don't think he's ever hit double figures since he left us! We have a better forward already in McCormack, and we need to play to his strengths.

Jermaine Beckford is understood to be having a medical at Bolton today and should confirm a £1m (ish) move from #lcfc soon

That should do it <ok> Although now we'll probably be inundated with 'we should've signed Beckford, he would've been a great signing' <laugh>

Latest rumour I've heard that makes me laugh my tits off is that Watford are supposedly signing a promising teenager and they think its most likely Sam Byram <laugh> nice feeling knowing other clubs can't afford our best players

Clubs in this league that can afford him (us for example) cant buy him because of FFP coming in. If Byram leaves it will be to a prem club.

Any player worth 3M+ now will go to prem clubs. Championship players price tags will have to drop now because of FFP.

Take David Nugent for example. He will always be a top championship striker but never will be good enough for the prem so his price tag will have to drop as no one can afford to pay what he is worth and no prem clubs are going to want him
