Pascal Dupraz, the 52 year old coach of French water carriers Evian, is being lined up to replace Guy Luzon, according to French and Israeli sources on Twitter. This guy seems so obscure that maybe it is true. We haven't had a new manager for 4 months, and I was thinking only yesterday that it would be nice to see a 5th new coach in our dug out in a 14 month period. Luzon was doing such a great job, having been appointed on merit himself, so shurely shome mishtake
I really can't believe this is true, Luzon is moving his family to London. I wonder if Pascal Dupraz is being lined up for the SL job. Or another club in the network? I didn't like the way Luzon was appointed but I do think he is doing a good job Royston. Let us be honest our squad last Season was not brilliant. But he got us out of the **** and up to halfway. If the manager was British and he had been picked by Meire after interviewing other candidates, I feel that he would be getting more praise. But because he is Foreign and previously managed SL people will not like him, because in their eyes he is tarnished. I will judge him objectively on how well he does for us and for me he is in credit.

Difficult to judge any Charlton coach these days, given the general strength of the squad, but like Dick Plumb, I was'nt at all happy about the appointment process, but overall, Guy Luzón deserves another year. I said the same about Jose at the end of last season, which is why a part of me does'nt quite write this off as silly season nonsense. But really, could we be daft enough to upset the ship again......?
Olly Groome works at the club and would not have put up a statement like that if there was any truth in it. Plus why is Luzon and his wife moving to London if he is losing his job? The trouble with Twitter is that anybody can open an account and post complete bollocks with impunity. Some people take whatever is on Twitter as Gospel, when it is probably some spotty adolescent posting crap in between looking at Porn.
But like many of the current staff at the Club, Olly is full of **** when it suits. Did he keep an equally straight face when Pinnochio Meire told him that she considered 20 candidates before appointing Luzon?
