I thought I'd make a thread just to mention tomorrows champion stakes will be Twice Overs final race. I've followed this horse since his 2yo days, and I must confess to having a big soft spot for the horse. I remember him being the Derby favourite, during the winter, and hearing reports of big bets being placed in him for the Derby. He disappointed abig as a 3yo, despite holding off Ravens Pass in the Craven he disappointed in the Dante, and after that Henry Cecil decided against running him in the Derby.

After a prep races he ran well in his first appearance in the Champion stakes behind New Approach, but it was as a 4yo that he realy proved he had the potential to be a top class G1 horse , winning the Champion stakes, beating the likes of Sariska and Fame and Glory, since then he has finished 3rd in a BC classic, and won the Eclipse and followed up ib the Champion stakes agains as a 4yo. As a 5yo he struggled early on, but later on he showed his class by winning the Juddmonte. I vet with my head and not my heart so il be backing Nathaniel tommorow, but I must say it realy would be a fairy tale ending to a fantastic career, could pull off a slight upset In tomorrows Champion Stakes. Its on a course he has usually struggled on but I struggle to rule him out
