Phil Sproson @gsml_info Still fuming, personally feel @TheCurtisDavies has been stabbed very publically in the back after West Ham game.
Hmm I didn't think Bruce said anything unjust after the West Ham game. Davies has been moaning about his contract all season.
S I'm sure he blamed him for the second goal, he also said the players were like big time Charlie's after the burnley game which davies disagreed with. Hope this isn't a sign of unrest in the camp
It's patently obvious (and has been ever since McShane spat his dummy out) that all is not well in the camp. I'm not sure the whole squad has the fight for a relegation battle.
They should know that unless they compete to the best of their ability that they'd get some stick. Either from the media, fans or the manager. Nobody knows what's been said- so we shouldn't start banding accusations about that Bruce has lost the dressing room etc etc.
The agent says he personally feels this but we take it this is 100% what Curtis feels. Curtis just can't say it. He gets the message out there through his proxy. Like a politician briefing to a friendly journalist.
Agent should keep his gob shut. And Davies should conduct his affairs behind closed doors not post sarcastic comments and hints about contracts etc on social media.
Curtis wants a new contract. He's looking for an excuse to have a go. Good job we haven't given him one because his inability to kick a football is obvious at the minute. Although out of our current crop he is all we have.
I remember hearing Davies complaining that Elmo was being offered a new contract. I think it was either the QPR or Norwich game. He's been moaning all season.
End of the day it was Bruce who pulled h from Birmingham, I remember a certain game when he played against us and he looked woeful.
He's been very average and nowhere near the high standards he set last season, made a few mistakes this season where as last season I struggle to remember one. Are we seeing now why no other Premier League club wanted him when we did? It was poor from Greegsy on Sunday but Curtis was so weak to let Carroll tap that in.
Agents are truly the scum of football, there's no reason to make his opinion public, it doesn't help his under-performing player, the team he plays for or the manager that gave him a chance in the premier league. Davies should either improve and earn a new contract or leave, we really don't need this sort of crap at the moment.
Agreed, it was a poor save, but Davies was in a position to clear that ball, he didn't show the alertness or desire to follow up the loose ball and because of that we conceded.
The timing of his agent's outburst is not a co-incidence. Chester out for 10 weeks, McShane still out of favour, Dawson and Bruce injury prone. Davies' agent is putting pressure on the club for a new contract at a time when the squad is weakened.
