Off Topic TV series - good and bad

If it hasn't been so far I'm sure it will be, the soundtrack budget is unlimited apparently. Great song btw.

 

Just binge watched the Netflix series The Night Agent, Sky's A town called Malic, and council tv's Better.
Enjoyed all of them especially The night agent. Great sound track to, A town called Malic, and like the Paul Weller cameo.

 

I have considered the night agent a couple of times but its not very often I watch a series from the 1st season as inevitably by the time.the next comes around I can't remember what the **** is going on or worse still Netflix decide to cancel the bastard!

 

Watched the night agent and it is pretty good but reminds me a bit of 24 not sure why but I did enjoy it

 

It is mate. Features in almost anything british gangster set in the 80s.... usually to the back drop of a dodge pot in a merc on some Spanish costal road.

 

Recently finished watching Poker Face, thought it was excellent and quite original .

 

Not looked to see if there is a 2nd series, but will not be surprised if there is.

 

How are you watching it, on Peacock? I know it's supposed to be on there but I've been checking for a while and it's not available to me. Dunno if there's something wrong with the Peacock app there's bugger all on there these days.

 

It’s on Peacock but geolocked so not available in the UK yet, you can watch with some VPNs but it’s a pain in the arse.

 

In the middle of watching Night agent on Netflix at the moment , well written, good acting,fast paced, who dunit, and really enjoying it. I also enjoyed the sci-fi movie " A quiet place" I expect there will be a sequel, as there is loads of story line gaps to fill in.

 

Righto, one to wait for and try not to forget about then.

 

Just finished it, daft but really enjoyable and the music is outstanding

I meant "a quiet place part 2" as you said it was open for a sequel.

 

I'm going to the night agent a bash. Been trying to watch that warrior nun but can't get in to it.

One I watched a while a go if anyone likes conspiracy style series "orphan black.

 

I think that sums it up perfectly, sometimes something daft but fun is what you need in an evening.

 

First two episodes of night agent watched, pretty good so far!
