Relegation. That gets my goat. What compounds this likely misery, and is adding to this goats anger, is the fact that we will miss out on the quite frankly huge payouts from the new TV rights that have been brokered. I see that BT have entered the game and having bought out ESPN are now positioning themselves to be a player in the game that is the Premier league. ( forget football I'm afraid ). Their outrageous bid contributed to sky having to up theirs and shows just how popular the PL is as a global brand. Typical QPR that we are more than likely going to miss out on this windfall at the worst possible moment, when with more prudent and astute management we would not be scrapping for some last minute hope. Annoyed? You bet I am, and to compound this it looks like Cardiff are going to waltz up at exactly the right time.
Of course, if we get away with it I retract my OP, but am not really holding out a vast amount of hope..
