tv coverage on Thursday

I'm 100% sure this will have been covered elsewhere but i haven't got time to trawl page after page of drivel.... So which channel is showing it?

Just looked and cant see it anywhere.

The Czech / Slovak sport channel I thought would be showing it is showing a replay of Liverpool v Man City (whenever that is) and live speedway!

 

BT Sport ?

 

Not scheduled at the minute.

 

I had a look the other day and there was nothing on ITV nor BT, so can only assume they have either not scheduled it yet or are not showing it at all.

It'll be on somewhere. Al Jazeera will probably have it they show near enough every football game in every competition.

 

Seems ridiculous that neither Sky, BT nor the terrestrial channels have it. What the **** else will Sky and BT be showing? Greyhounds or something. If it was a license issue it'd be understandable but one or more of them will have the deal to broadcast Europa League games so there's no reason for it not to be on.

 

All the schedules are set by now - so I guess it's not on at all. That's a bloody farce isn't it?

People are desperate for football - any football at this time of year. Do they honestly think whatever repeat they are going to show is going to pull in more than a live football match?

You can bet if it had been Arsenal vs Man City in the final, so the European place went to Man Utd, some exec would have found time in the hectic schedules to put it on.

 

I reckon it’ll be on summat or other.

Had a look on Wiziwig, they’ve got listings to all the CL games in the coming week but no EL yet, which suggests to me, for some reason, they’re not set in televisual stone yet.

 

But all the TV Guides are now out for this coming week - all the main channels are not showing it. An English team has been due to play on Thursday night for months now - it's been us since May. I don't doubt there will be coverage online somewhere - but it's really disappointing that no channels think the game is showing where there is no other football on at all.

 

As I said, Al Jazeera or Bein Sports will definitely be showing the match. They show near enough every single top level match out there.

I don't know much about these channels. We can't get them in the UK can we?

 

You can, but it's rare.

You could simply use the internet for them.

 

It's not televised at all. No camera points at the ground.

 

I think ITV have required about showing it but it's not viable. A source at ITV tells me:

"No Slovakian channel covering it, so no match coverage.
Sky Sports News will probably have an in-vision reporter there."

Best answer I've got right now. Ill let you know if this changes.

Espn ? - on their website but unclear whether they will be showing it. I don't have Sky or any of the paid for providers so not sure who they are to be honest!

The internet feed on the second leg last week was perfect so if I wasn't going I would watch that.
The best place to have a drink before going to the ground will be Holiday Inn which is about 100 yards from the ground.
