After the positive display of football and the bizarre outburst from Harry on Adel, I think the Villa game is make or break.

Have to say, can't recall a manager ever singling a player out like that and making those sort of remarks.

Taarabt is an enigma. Always will be. Like those children in school who are demanding and difficult, who will NEVER respond to criticism or tough love.

He has to have his belly (amd it's a decent belly) tickled. Warnock is the only manager we have had who has done this and it worked a treat. Warnock knows that Adel is a bit of a tool but could see the bigger picture.

Adel is clearly the most gifted player we have had since the prem glory days in the 90 ' s and i still find it mad that in a business that has no moral fibre that Harry can't just put his own fat ego aside and let the lad play. He thrives on attention and the fans singing his name. We have got good players around him, a lot better than the last prem campaign. He HAS to be the star of the show.

Kiss and make up lads and get Tubbs on. Anyways, he might have to pick him with the injuries we are racking up.

Villa game is not make or break, all we need to see to continued commitment from the players (whomever is selected).

One commitmented performance should not cover over the cracks, but a sustained increase in effort and pride on the pitch will give us hope.

As a result would like to see the same starting 11.

    I am with Toad
The match against Liverpool was a joke game IMO

We certainly have passion at the club now … i hope they use it wisely

I want to see Taarabt fired up … an arrogant matador surrounded by a solid unit that has to include Henry and a improving Sandro. Yun has to play also

    ………….McCarthy…………….

    Onunha Ferdinand Caulker

    Isla…………Henry………….Yun

    Taarabt Sandro

    Vargas Zamora

I think the Villa game IS actually make or break.

It will hopefully prove one way or another whether Harry and co have actually got the know how to get us playing the way we need to stay up and furthermore all that has gone before was due to situations developed out of injuries and bedding in new players or he is past his sell by date and needs to go now and not January.
If QPR come out and attack Villa as they have Liverpool and come away with a convincing 2-0 win, then, for the next 4-5 games, taking into consideration that we can right off anything being taken against Chelsea and Man City Harry has a few games longer to prove we are heading in the right direction.

If we revert to type against Villa, who are about as crap as most of the crap are at the moment, lose or get a lucky draw, then let's not wait until the remaining proven Premier League grafting managers have been snapped up. Get rid now.

Financially as a club we do not want to be back in the jurisdiction of the Football League and their FFP policies next season as we will get put out of business if we are not careful. Yo-Yoing is not financially viable anymore if your income cannot get anywhere near your squad costs and you are making huges losses.

If I was TF I would give him until the minute of the final whistle next Monday night and then if necessary act swiftly. I would prefer stability, but maybe the financial stability of the club is more important currently than the stability in the manager hot seat.

    You wouldn't start Vargas?

If we lose against Villa we will almost certainly still be on 4 points after the next two against Chelsea and City. IMO that makes the Villa game absolutely huge!

The only thing wrong with this is that Sandro should be alongside Henry, as the two holding midfield players are required to cover the wing backs.

Personally, I'd start the same 11, with Vargas replacing OBZ. It's harsh on him, but I'd rather he came on as an impact sub than suffer an injury and lose him for a while.

This makes no sense to me. You wouldn't start Vargas in case he got injured?

    He HAS to start imo.

    I would stick with 4-4-2.

Assuming all fit (except Taarabt of course)..

    ..................McCarthy.......................

Onuoha, Caulker, Dunne (or Hill) , Yun

Isla, Barton, Sandro (or Henry), Fer

    ..........Zamora, Vargas.....................

I think he means Vargas in for Bobby to save Bobby from injury. I reckon we will see Bobby and Vargas up front vs Villa

IMO Fer can't play on the left as he's far to lazy and won't track back. If we play 4-4-2 I'd play Hoilett in front of Yun.

Yes, I wouldn't argue with that.

Fer is more talented, but lazy.

    Sounds familiar.
