Gloop - hope not as he has been immense for us since the nightmare that was Liverpool (h).

We've got cover with Bennett and Rusty (assuming Whittaker is fit - was he crocked again on Saturday or just simply left out) but Anthea and Seb have been a twin collossus this season and he would be a loss for the last 4 games.

I thought Bennett was fantastic Saturday and not because he scored a goal. A loss, but not something to be seriously concerned about.

ryan benett was superb against reading, maybe he derserves at start at the potters?
he's tall so will be good with the aerial threat
    sad for turner
also barney will be done at cardiff on the first weekend in may, so we could have him back for the last 2 games

the way Turner walked off on Saturday would indicate only a minor problem. Bennett was a superb replacement for him and showed all the potential that we hoped would be there. no thanks to Barnett as a replacement if needed, a couple of our thrashings this season featured him in defense.

That was when Bassong was out, Barny is much better with Seb to guide him!

I disagree a bit there. The way he walked off made me think it was serious. If he'd gone down under a bad tackle or pulled up with a hamstring whilst running, at least it might have just been a strain, but the way he just sat down like "Nope, that's it, no point trying to keep going" concerned me more.

Yep - sat down and immediately signalled to the bench that he needed to come off. Looked serious enough to me - just hope he recovers quickly.

Looks as if its something he knew about. Footballers know when somethings up and it's not worth continuing.

It's a shame because he's been so awesome. However, Bennett was fantastic. Very cool.

Groin injury according to Hughton but his not commented on the severity it could always be an acute strain.
