Just want to be the first to mention their names, as if we do get Bruce its all we'll bloody hear! Im a big target and I'm ready for the insults
Haha I was wondering how long it would be until this came up. For what it's worth Turner may be a possibility, he's hardly set the world alight with Sunderland, probably best not to go back though. Campbell, well there's probably more chance of Deano pulling his boots back on and leading the line.
Not at all. Ive handed that batton over to you anyway. For record i dont want to see Campbell in a City shirt ever again. As for Turner, he enters his final year of his contract next season so we may get him back cheap-ish. Maybe best to wait for next summer when Turner becomes a free agent. Who knows at the moment ? TWT.
Great, the blames all yours! I doubt anyone would mind if FC came back really, as long as he played like we know he can. He may of snubbed us but IMO it was mostly his dad that was trying to get the best deal for his son, who could blame a father for this.
Turner - nowhere near as good as he was, but maybe OK as a squad member. Campbell - like to see him in front of a firing squad.
Is anybody actually annoyed about him choosing Sunderland over us though? It was more the bullshit they came out with in the press for weeks beforehand that riled people.
I was annoyed the fact we didn't get him because he's a great player, but not at all annoyed for joining another club, he was and still is considerably young, he was just trying to get the best deal for himself and his dad persuaded him somewhat, would love him back and I can't understand why everyone is getting angry and defensive because he snubbed us, he wasn't a born and raised City fan so he wouldn't have any passionate connection to the club, Sunderland was a great option for him, look where he and Sunderland are now, and look where we are
People are getting annoyed with him because him and his old man are lieing two faced twats who spent weeks saying they weren't even interested in joining anybody else. The fact he decided he was better off at Sunderland is not the problem - compare the reaction Turner got when he played against us for the first time after his move having made the same decision.
