We beat the league leaders on their patch and kept a clean sheet for our first win in nine.

Do you think that we are turning the corner, or is the result at Oxford a blip and normal service will soon be resumed? Sorry to sound pessimistic, but I still can't see where our goal threat is going to come from. We look defensively pretty sound, but that won't win games.

I've been pretty disparaging about John Ward and the team over the past few weeks, so credit where credit is due, but I really hope that we can kick on from here.

A win v York in the FA Cup is essential - we need to be set up to attack and be less cautious - it's a cup game at home - attack, attack, attack!!!

i hope it aint another false start.

a few people i know went to oxford who was really impressed with our attacking. they all said it was a massive improvement and gave them all a good feeling. they said that beardsley looked good and can actually keep the ball up top to allow others to get involved and would keep the pressure off the defence. they said if he can play as he did at oxford then we will keep more clean sheets and be more attacking. they also said that ward should now be more attack orientated as beardsley allow him to be more adventerous.

    sounds good but.....

Hopefully its the turning point otherwise all that hard work in the last two games would be for nothing. Yes all out attack against York I would like a good cup run this year

City and Rovers both in similar situations - good results achieved and now hoping it's a corner turned.

If they can get a bit of a run going it breeds confidence - professional sport is played as much in the head as anything (if you know what I mean)

I've been watching Rovers for less time than the rest of the posters here, but I've experienced many a false dawn in those 11 1/2 years.

This better not be one of them
