Apparently a Turkish club have made a solid bid for N’Diaye. The club are considering whether to accept the bid. For me we have to keep hold of him and see how he does this season. There were signs last term that he could turn into a quality midfielder and he seems to fit the bill of being big and strong like the players weve signed. I would definatly hold on to him and give him a chance to shine.

if we got rid of N'Diaye it would be a step backwards imo…he is better/younger than Vaughan, Catts, Gardner etc

It depends on whether we replace with as good/better! But I agree - I really like the look of Alfie and really want him to stay at the club

i think he could develop into a good player with a bit of luck and some decent coaching. he should be given time i think, its far to early to get shot. out of o'neills final signings he is the only one who is any good

We need to keep Alfie. He's the kind of player we need, we'd only have to replace him with someone similar so what's the point?

Just like any other player, whoever they are, if the deal's right they go.

Got to be a keeper, showed signs of what he can do, big strong breaker upper, needs to work on shooting as he,s in the Catts category for that, barn door comes into mind, got the potential to be something special in a year or 2

If none of the players we have signed are better than N'Daiye then we are in the clarts.

DeFanti & PDC think they must be and hence if the rumours are true he may go if a decent profit made.

After the incoming transfers made to date how can you even suggest that by selling N'Daiye it would undo all the other signing, e.g. never improve?

IMHO even if N'Daiye goes the team has improved immeasurably(it will be measured once the season starts mind)

Yes but selling your better players will eventually lead to a squad full of average journeymen…

It wouldnt undo the improvement but it would create a gap that needed filling

"AIB" - ffs, we need to stop polarising any differences of opinion - there is no AOB, nobody WANTS him to leave.

There are some who realise that the Books Have To Be Balanced And Every Player Has His Price, so perhaps there is a "BHTBBAEPHHPB".....thats the modern face of football, its how we got the lad from Juventus, its swings and roundabouts and should be no surprise to anyone after Mignolet.

At least we have players worth signing - surely a positive sign in itself.

While true it doesn't detract from the fact that he he's better than at least 3 other CM's in our squad atm. Surely the players further down the pecking go first otherwise you end up with a good first 11 and the rest of the squad is substandard. Vaughan, Gardner and Colback all need to go before Alfie in order to maintain depth and a realistic level of competitiveness throughout the squad. Is it not bad enough the at present Mclean is back up to Giaccherini? that's a massive gulf between 1st team and back up. If we have that through the squad then when injuries hit we are ****ed simple as.

I want a strong squad, not a good team with **** squad.
