... should he start v Watford on Monday ?

Our season is over now, play offs to far away, so I really believe AT should start on Monday. Our DEF has been nothing short of poo over the season & with nothing to play for it will do him the world of good.

We need players like him & at 29 (I think) he´s still got a good 3 years left in him, IF he stays fit that is ? If he can get these 3 remaining games under his belt & have a good pre-season it will be like signing a new player.

SGE needs to get in a top champ´ship GK, maybe the GK from Wigan Ath, 2 DEF´s & a 25+ goal scorer, get rid of some dead wood & get N´gussen & Hobbs back. Weale is a good back up BUT if we want to go up next season we really do need to 'quality up' through out the squad. I predict alot of comings & goings in SGE 1st real transfer window & I can´t wait for June 1st, I just hope SGE got some good cards up his sleeve.

Considering his problems I'd like him to have a full pre-season under his belt. We have nothing to play for so throwing him in now would be an unecessary risk IMO.

But definitely he should be considered for next season.

In any case I think we'll need another centre back, a left back a right back, a goalkeeper, a holding midfielder, a pacey winger who can beat a man and a a goalscorer. I expect us to sign maybe Mee and Kamara out of the loans (the only other ones I'd consider are Naughton and Vitor, but it won't happen) and I think Hobbs will leave, possibly Berner and Waghorn as well.

I would risk him. If he is fine then i would put him on the bench

.. thought it a great thing Sven did by bringing him on last few seconds to get a feel of the crowd, great reception and I'm sure it will give him a boost... let's hope he gets a good pre season under his belt and turns out for us for a long time to come, just heard Sven saying that he doubt's we'll get all the back 4 loanees signed, just do ya best Sven, they know the score at the Walkers, would help huge amount if we start off with more or less the same players next season..
