i suppose i'll have to do an Alex , two horses a day !! Small stakes but Flemerina for sue smith and danny cook must have an excellent chance in the 2 20 M/rasen,currently 7/2 , but the most intriguing entry has to be Cousin Pete in the hunter chase , not for the prolific pointer , but the trainer ! - Mrs Brown !! no other info ! 7/2 also ,
Cook/Smith have one other runner it might be worth considering the treble with. They won with both of theirs today.
3.05 Southwell- BOGART- 12/1 ew A bit of a risky bet this but this once high class sprinter makes his AW debut. Hasn’t won in over 3 years but was Last seen at York over 100 days ago and altho not as his best that day the form of that race is better than this today. Running off a mark of 79 today which matches his lowest rating for about 3 years too. In which he was second by a neck off and this track should suit his front running tactics, as Southwell is extremely hard to come from off the pace! Has a wind op since his last run too. Alto the fav will be hard to beat as he has room for improvement still, my boy can serve it up and show him he still has the bit of class of old
Nice little race this one Wooly, I've looked at it about 10 times now and still can't decide which one to go with. Over the last 6 months or so I've backed probably half of these runners either winning or placing for me. I backed FOOLAND last time out and may well stick with him again @. 2/1 but then I like Razin Hell too to place.
yes lads , a few with chances in that 305 race , i can't help being drawn to john baldings horses that are ridden by his grandson Lewis Edmunds , granted the one in the 305 seems to have a lot to prove , but Fortinbrass and Getting Lucky have attracted support , balding has been running them over winter but now Lewis is back in the saddle , significant maybe ? His dad jason rode exclusively for balding , and enjoyed much success albeit at a low level , but winners are winners and pay the same at the bookies as a grade one !
Blimey, Wooly, that race is full of C&D regulars, so if Bogart does win that is some tip! I'm drawn to Pearl Acclaim, to be honest, but you could make plausible arguments for most of these I think. However, I'm ignoring that race and going for a big shout on Poorauldjosephine in the 2.00 at Southwell, despite a massive drift this morning, so that's one you should all stay away from; also like Dawn Dancer in the opener, which is a bit more realistic. Good Luck All.
that opener has some intruding newcomers , money has come for simmcocks runner and archie watson pacific salt must be feared ....
Hmmm. I have to admit that was the first name to jump out at me. I remember him. Now I'm going to have a re-think about whether or not to cover my bet
EVS now, didn't take the 2/1 this morning and only got 13/8 about an hour ago but as long as he wins.
Just passing this on. My brother has three runners at Sheffield r1 t2 r3 t3 r5 t3 says all have a decent chance Cheers.
