    Evening all

I like the two Sir Mark Prescott handicap debutants tomorrow at Leicester

    SOLAR VIEW 4.20 4/1

    NEIGE D'ANTAN 4.55 4/1

both on low looking marks following 3 runs in maidens and both also have entries later on in the week. Love these ones from this yard and expect at least one to go in <cheers>

RV are either of the horses using the 3 runs at inadequate trips to get a mark then going over 1m 4f? Surely this tactic has been long since rumbled and the handicapper can make an allowance?

    Evening all

    Been having a bbq all day few beers, few burgers, watching the queens concert great day!! Bit miffed I forgot to put a lil something on Dandana picked him out ydat today but hey thats. a couple for me tomorrow;

    3.10 Redcar- Whitby Jet- 4/1

Succesful twice on good ground over 1m Ran on well in his reappearance, before being well held in heavy conditions at sandown. Was second LTO and will defy a career high mark if on the same form.

    3.25 Yarmouth- Mankini

Small punt mostly for the name <laugh> but does stand a very good chance tomorrow- 100,000 gns yearling out of italian oaks winner Fashion Statment was in need of a run lto and will have come on for it

RV - kinda puts me off the old Sir Mark wouldnt have been so obvious! I will hold my powder for Mr Curley's next venture over with under performing/well handicapped horses and then wait a further 18 months for Sir Paddy of the Power to settle my bets! <ok>

I think we see Britains first Henrythenavigator colt tomorrow at Leicester. Frankie Dettori is booked for Jeremy Nosedas Henrietta Rose at Leicester (2.10) and if you can get anything like the 7/1 available on Betfair I would recommend an each-way bet, as Dettoris 27% strike rate with Noseda also has 57 wins and 53 places from 207 starts together, which is quite incredible. I've mentioned it before but I do think Henrythenavigators progeny will all be good juveniles between 5f and 1m so who knows you might soon see one or two worth following upwards towards Group level.

However I would also take Dettori and Godolphins newcomer to get turned over in the second race by the Richard Hannon/Hamdan Al Maktoum combination (a very rare sight?!) JALAAA as that horse is due to go very well first time out given the 2 Y O expertise of the yard and the cracking Street Cry pedigree, a sire that seemingly had countless good juveniles last season.

Apart from the odd maiden though, its rubbish racing again isnt it? Anyone keen on DAWN APPROACH at Royal Ascot? Looking forward to some good racing there it must be said. Anyone know if Nathaniel is due to return soon?

I was a bit disappointed by Dawn Approach to be honest. It looked a bit like hard work to me, but maybe he was up against some good colts.

    The Nifty Fox. 15:45 Redcar.

Tough call with that and the favourite in the race Bosum Breeze but feel at weights reversal he will have the edge.

    Good luck all.

Having trouble posting now for some reason..RONNNNNNNNNN, ah it's just my computer i bet.

Toppy i agree, looking forward to seeing Henrietta Rose tomorrow and i am very hopeful we will see a good batch of HTN's progeny become better than average in time, he was a real favourite of mine for many different reasons. I might back the horse in the morning after i go over some finer detail, nice work as usual.

He can't though, can he? The horse's mark has to reflect what he's shown on the track, objectively assessed. Allocating a mark based on what might be achieved in different circumstances would invalidate the whole handicapping system. The Barmy Baronet doesn't break any rules, he just exploits them, though the introduction of multiple penalties has restricted him a little, and he is constantly reviewing his methods.

No definite word as such, but I know Ed Dunlop is keen on their newcomer in the 2.40 at Leicester RED AVENGER.

He isn't flashy but he was well on top at the line again. I have thought since his debut he needs a step up in trip. He certainly is advertising New Approach as a sire. Not sure how good he is yet but we will have a better idea after Royal Ascot.

I thought he did it well. OK Mister Marc may not be near the top of the pecking order in Hannon's yard but I thought Dawn Approach showed a nice attitude and really knuckled down in the closing stages to win going away. I would think a step up in trip to 7F may well be on the cards.
