In the 4.30 Brighton Sonnetina looks likely to take the beating. A course and distance winner, she was beaten last time but the ground was soft that day and she is back on quick ground now. This looks a race where not many are inspiring and few look like you could trust a good run from them. With that in mind I thought 7/4 was going to beat SP.

Not huge odds but Enable is 5/4 for the Eclipse and I'll take 7/4 in what looks a very winnable race.

    4.30 Brighton Sonnetina 7/4

Going to Hamilton tomorrow, got a couple of strong fancies. First being 3:15 Juniors Fantasy(9/4). Easterby was in good form today and can see him carrying on into tomorrow, hes sending quite a few up here so could be worth keeping an eye on some of his others.

5:15 Paddy Power(7/2) back down in class after a no show in the big handicap at York at the weekend, thought the price would be a bit shorter closer to being fav but happy to take the 7/2. Another trainer who was in top form today, hopefully I've not missed the boat on both of them.

    hi fellas!

    hamilton,4 15:

quite a competitive little contest.NEVER BE ENOUGH,though, has it in her to run very well again today.is very consistent, and interesting, that she seems to take her races well enough in a short space,as she did so before.

A very poor effort and the market seemed to know about it because she went from 11/8 and 5/4 early right out to 9/4. In contrast they could not give the winner away this morning and I saw her at 9/1. She opened 15/2 and was backed down to 11/2. It was as if everyone at the track knew which one was going to win and that the favourite was not to be touched with the old barge pole.

8:15 if Hidden Charmer can jump cleanly then he’s really well handicapped. I’m prepared to give him a chance at 8/1 to show this on a track he should be suited to (should be in the lead pack from the off)

If he puts in a clear round he will hack up. A gallant 2nd wasn’t bad at all.

Bloody stressful this women's football. USA go into an early lead, England equalise and USA go 2-1 up before half time. 10 mins from the end we equalise but goes to VAR and is inches offside. Then we get a penalty through VAR 2 mins from the end and goalie saves. Then 7mins added on and we have a player sent off. USA were the better side but were lucky not to be taken to extra time; dreadful penalty by the captain. Why the top goal scorer didn't take it I don't know. Bloody VAR <laugh>
