HAKUNA MATATA 8-1 4.20 Market Rasen has shown next to nothing in three hurdle runs thus far but if you have a widescreen TV you can just see him staying on well each run despite receiving little or no encouragement to do so. Now handicapped it will be no surprise to see him step up markedly on what he has done so far.
The yard love a punt and although there is no interest in him as yet I wouldnt be at all surprised to see the money come. If/when it does it should be heeded. Interestingly his stablemate and fellow non trier Hada Men was in the same race as Hakuna Matata two runs ago, he has since landed a decent gamble.
Hakuna Matata is a winner on the flat so obviously has some ability.

    5.00 Carnac

Shane Kelly returns, taking over from two of the most agricultural lady jockeys around and that makes this horse very interesting for the Mccabe yard. 14/1 in a 6 runner race is very good value to me.

Its nearly the flat season, I can't wait for the line "Ruth Carr's runners are hitting form at long last, so back them blind" this will be announced to the world in November 2020

Another slow day on the racing front today but one I quite like the look of is Scotsbrook Cloud in the Novice Chase at Hereford. There probably isn't alot between the top 3 in the betting but I think Scotsbrook Cloud, in receipt of weight and on his favoured going, might just edge it.

Morning, everyone. Nothing for me today but I note that on Southwell Sands there is a 13YO having his first run for over 1,000 days!

Meanwhile, a huge number of entries have been made for Donny on Saturday, I see. Punters beware though as there are sure to be more plots than in an Agatha Christie novel at that meeting.

I think the beloved members of this forum could create a drinking game on Barney Chuckles posts, I would suggest that everyone has to down their drink when he mentions certain things -

Anyone going to name some of his phrases?

I see that the wonderfully named H M R K B Herath is wreaking havoc amongst England's batsmen

Dear Mr Manager of the English cricket team,

MORE PRACTICE FOR YOUR BATSMEN AGAINST SPIN BOWLING

It beggars belief - as soon as any English batsmen sees a bit of spin he resorts to playing like a 7 year old on the beach at Blackpool.

SBC, im confused by your post. As you are not waving to no bet banner, nor wishing those who do strike a wager good luck, is it safe to assume you are backing the said 13 year old?

Haha thats the beggar I tipped to win a Festival handicap a few weeks back...was last I think...easier task today oddy!

Hakuna Matata 5's now...the plot unfolds.

SBC waving the no bet banner is the most used. Lovely name for a filly is another and I am Hendo's love child should be another. Flat season soon though and the focus of Barneys lust will move back to HRAC!

Don, sorry should have waved the old banner and said ‘no bet’. The 13YO (Fire And Ice) is 66/1 and looks to have no chance given his age, time off the track and previous form but it’s intriguing that they have decided to preserve with him. Only a very brave (or stupid) man would back him today though.

Stick, old boy, that’s Outrageous with a capital ‘O’.

    Hello lads.

Another belter of a day.Shame the racing doesn't match the climate so nothing for me today.

Interesting runner at L'town tomorrow night.Robin Hood hasn't run since his 2-y-o days and runs in a handicap tomorrow off a fair looking mark of 90.

Definately noteworthy that AO'B has persisted with this one, they normally end up at the dispersal sales.

Worth a market check even though he'll probobly need the run like most from B'doyle.

GL all...I'm off to the garden with my factor 15.

Better be careful what we write on here lads - just seen that lad got 56 days in prison for tweeting offensive remarks on twitter <yikes>

Mr O'Brien is a very nice man and a fabulous trainer.
Mr Curley is a fine, upstanding citizen.
Mr Pipe's horses always run to their merits, how dare anyone suggest otherwise.
Mr Henderson was clearly mislead by his vet.

    Is all that OK??
