As I dont start my new job till the 1st April, have got a free ticket to go to Fontwell tomorrow, so any selections welcome 14.40- Fontwell- Dynamic Idol- 11/4 He has gained all four of his places (one gold-two silver-one bronze) via 11 starts between January and March to date. Was second lto at plumpton 2 weeks ago so if in the same form and looked as if this step up in trip will suit.
In dubai awaiting the big night on Saturday and as always would value your views /insights on some tricky races .surely Shea Shea wins ? Surely RoW can't defy the long layoff and wouldn't it be great to see the fugue stride home . All help welcomed ... Good luck to all
I had a look at this yesterday, I am afraid it looks to be an awful renewal of a shocking race. I wouldn't be backing in it with stolen money. Hope you have a good night, but surely don't expect too much from the 'racing'
Thanks swanny /Nass -am looking forward to the sprint more so then any of the other races . Nass -read me the race ane give me the winner - hahahaha -all will be well - keep the good advice and tips coming ...... Surely SHuruq on the exotic tafeta surface ,,,
Went against woolys choice when the market opened yesterday (not that my choice will win) keltic rhythm has run a few good times/dist lately and todays distance and conditions should suit nicely top weighted I know but the opening price out weighed the risk. good luck though wooly
Morning, pilgrims. Hope everyone well. I would say that the big ‘un at Meydan on Saturday is pretty dire but the supporting card is Corking with a capital ‘C’. Magician and old boy Gosden’s The Fugue would be my picks. Meanwhile, Paddy Power, has shortened Long Run to just 11/1 for the GN, troops. What do they know?!?
Hello lads. Agree re The Fugue, smashing mare. I would love to see her win,as much as anything to prevent another embarrassing William Buick watery meltdown, and this only days after the Jacob fella's teary tantrum at Cheltenham. Wouldn't catch Ruby going all girly...what,what..
Don't worry wooly its not a big bet the odds were to skinny there are a couple I like though just going through them again to eliminate human error lol
You know, Dexter, Ruby's as tough as teak, we all know that, but he can be a bit of a miserable sod sometimes, wouldn't you say? Before his unfortunate injury, he did look pretty pissed-off at times during the Festival? To be honest, I think I might have 'blinked' a bit after losing that race Jacob did, half-a-nose for God's sake, in a NH race! Jeez, I'm glad Cheltenham's over, now on to Punchestown (hope I haven't missed it, living in this remote part of the world).
I think either Woolie or UncleC. has the winner of the 2.40 at Fontwell. Which one? Blowed if I know.
Dex, wait until Ruby is training those horses for the flat, he will be sobbing into his cornflakes if one of the dears gets the slightest problem before their big days in the sun. He might be tough now, but wait until he has a few Galileo's or Montjeu's in the yard!! Also, nice to see Jim Bolger reading.
Just passing on some info from a mate of mine saying that Mystical Flame has a good chance in the 5.15 at Chepstow... Ive had a little bit of the 15/2 available e/w... Ive not looked at the cards myself yet today, so I cant comment anymore on his pick...
No one's mentioned that Midnight Minx runs today. She's up against some god awful performers and really should be up to winning this race if she's not lost her ability.
Beef stew and dumplings. 8/10. Mr Ponsonby and Mr Henderson have got one in that heat, Bob. Although you would have to say that the formers best chance of a winner today was on the level on Southwell Sands – Ridgeway Storm (2.50).
I saw that runner but thought it would have to improve loads to be involved if MM runs to her ability. The Southwell runner just has to turn up doesn't it? Looks a long way better than the rest of that small field. I thought he might have the winner of the first at Chepstow. Call The Cops. I like the Champagne West form lines and think that's better form than the fav has produced.
