The best of these on the flat and has been pitched in against some smart performers on his three qualifying runs to date. He has looked in need of a trip over hurdles and low and behold that is what he gets for his handicap debut. Job jockey Leighton Aspell does the steering for the first time over hurdles and I fully expect a win. Market support would be an added bonus.

Whatever has happened to Carter McKay. Champion bumper horse in 2017, Martin Pipe in 2018, been in a grade 1 chase as little as 2 months ago and now in a £2k hunter chase at Sedgefield tomorrow. Is that what Qatar racing had in mind? I doubt it.

I don't know what they paid for him but I suspect it will take quite a few hunter chases to recoup their dough. Not that they care of course.

5:15 Fairy house - Coastal Tiep 16/1. Backed this horse the last twice at huge prices. Expected a big run at Cheltenham but it pulled up then ran a blinder to place for meme 80/1 next time out. Nowhere near that price today but another run like last time would have it thereabouts today. Probably should play ew but where's the fun in that so win only.

I know what it says in the Racing Post but I find it hard to believe that Qatar Racing still have him. This guy Pimlott has two hunter chasers in his yard both owned by the All For The Craic Syndicate. I reckon Qatar have quietly shovelled him along when Gordy has told them he has gone at the game.

Yeah that makes more sense. He was in a Tattersall sale in March but it just says withdrawn. Probably given away?

I’m guessing Pimmers (he is on Will Hill radio quite a lot) has to own a stake in the horse for him to run it in a hunters (I believe this is the case for permit holders) so I’d be surprised if still owned by Qatar

The way the forum is at the moment I'm actually surprised someone hasn't been offended

That's my point, there is nothing at all offensive about it but the way people are they can find fault in everything

As an Englishman and fairly patriotic chap I'm always a little embarrassed about the St George's day 'celebrations'. As far as I'm aware St. George's day was barely marked for the first 40 years of my life. It's in the forced family fun category for me. My town had a St. George's day parade on Saturday but thankfully I was in Anglesey so was spared the pissed up st george waving brigade. Apologies to any of my fellow English men/women who maybe offended by my views on the matter. As for the rest of you fook of and mind ur own business <laugh><laugh>
