However, this beast has a lovely pedigree being a half brother to Sporting John and also I love the name. He is by Elusive Pimpernel. The owner is a lovely guy and a few seasons back had a really good horse. I hope he has another.

Not seen but def was not value at odds on . I was suprised to see 6/4 which looked fair and worth a risk
No chance with the Go Dante winner, but ran well to finish second at the surprise price of 12/1 (a nice drift). Happy with that!
What a lovely looking horse but far from the finished article and going to want a trip. On the other hand it was well worth tuning in to watch the winner. Connections had the winner of this last year with Chasing Fire and the one today could be every bit as good.
