Sawpit sienna looks to have a good chance at around 3s in the first at Fakenham . Hughes booked ! conditions , distance and track will suit .
Morning 1.25 Fakenham-Oistrakh Le Noir @ 9-2 [Paddy Power] Been disappointing considering what he cost but still relatively unexposed over fences
Wouldn't be surprised if TWASN'T THE PLAN finally gets his head in front in the 1.25 at Fakenham. Hit the frame on numerous occasions over fences and returns now after a wind surgery on a career low mark. Hood And Tongue Strap added should help too. Hopefully Twasn't The Plan can reach a place at least. Good luck everyone
Muggy double for me today 1:45 Welsh Saint - hood hurdler and should make into a nice chaser. Had it between him and Dolphin and yard form of Hobbs is a massive negative. 2:15 Astigar - I liked his bumper run and I didn’t like the effort of the Henderson horse last time out. Double pays over 4/1.
Any sign of Smokethedeadbadger? He hasn't been on in a while, was a regular most weeks. Hope all is well.
Without wanting to aftertime my price, I think there is still some value in Roksana at evens for the Mares hurdle this weekend. She surely is a cut above the horses in this race in a hurdle and this is a perfect race for her.
Welsh Saint took off too early at the open ditch and got rid of Nico. Joy. Just a single on the latter to make up for it.
Just noticed Miss Honey Ryder running earlier for Warren Greatrex and thought to myself that he has gone very quiet, or has he? He seemed to be a lot more prominent a few years back now, but I seldom hear much from the yard nowadays, has he scaled back his operation or are the horses just not there at the moment, maybe he has been flying it and I've been oblivious to it all.
When it's not your day, you know it, done by the same colours after going through with what looked a winning run. That was almost inevitable after Welsh Saint and DeBoinville parted company.

Charles Byrnes given a 6 month ban here too, running his horses with a sedative after being administered. They've no idea how it got there though, or so they say. Horses drifting alarmingly and tailing off, Charles is always on the fiddle so was only a matter of time before they got him for something. 6 month ban and the minimum fine of 1,000 euros given seeing as they also take into consideration the loss of earnings while out of action.
For a rare occasion I wanted to flag up the Nick Luck Podcast today - https://soundcloud.com/user-418663758 He did an interview with the owner of old boy Gino Trail after they retired him last week. The interview is about half way through and is well worth a listen, it genuinely was the best bit of radio I have heard about horse racing for a long time.
Which one is it Nassau? It brings me into Nick Luck's soundcloud and there are multiple options to listen to, I know I'm missing something simple here most likely.
The latest one - Waiting Patiently is the episode. Nick does a daily podcast which is well worth a listen, this is part of his latest episode.
