The same connections had 2 very well backed runners on Sunday. Both left without a win. Plenty of support for Midnight Appeal also in the race too.

Slow day so far, trawling through the cards later and Bloodsweatandtears @ 12/1 Brighton 6.20 caught the eye. To look at current form figures would not give much enthusiasm, however, he hasn't been beaten very far in those starts and on his 2nd last visit to Brighton he hosed up by 5 lengths, that was a class 6 event where as today is a step up to class 5. Racing off 60 here, 4 lbs higher than that win but with Ed Greatrex taking 5 off, he would appear to have a chance, and is a nice each way bet with 13 currently going to post.
