    3:45 Taunton - Tornado In Milan 6/1

Can probably make some sort of a case for each of the runners in this one but I'm going with Evan Williams runner. Yard are in decent form and it won well last time out. Ronaldinho 12/1 would also appeal at a bigger price so might chuck reverse forecast in for good measure

Nice little race for a Tuesday this one. I backed Ibis Du Rheu last time out and was very disappointed by how tamely he fell away at the end. He may have needed the run but couldn't be backing him tomorrow. Fox Norton for me. Won a Grade 2 last year very well and then placed in a grade 1 at the Punchestown festival. If he can bounce back to anything like that form tomorrow then the 13/2 on offer at the moment will look an absolute steal.

    Is SBC about?

I say old boy, I see that the forums favourite dentist is pretending to be a jockey for Daddy tomorrow and makes the journey up to old 'Wethers' for a couple of rides.

What says you re his chances?

McCoy rides three at Wetherby. The one I like is At Reception in the 3.55 at 7/2.

Sam's doing 10.5 on Ibis Du Rheu tomorrow. Far too keen last time had 0 pace in the race, his earlier french form reads very well. Gets 4 year olds allowance here should take a lot of beating.

Don’t you fret about him ‘pretending’, my old love. The forum’s favourite Corinthian and dentist is out of the top drawer in terms of jockeyship. His C.V. these past few terms is up there with the very best of them.

His rides ‘ooooooooooooooooooop North’ today are interesting and both mares are very, very nicely bred. Makadamia used to be with those old rogue’s the Pipe’s and I must say I was very relieved when Daddy Robert transferred her to his own barn. Many a sleepless night I endured worrying that the younger Mr Waley-Cohen would learn some bad habits from the Pipe’s and then turn up at Seven Barrows with them! Makadamia’s dam was a very useful performer for Mr Henderson winning at Grade 2 level. Her daughter though would appear not up to that class but today’s heat is a poor one and running off just 102 you would have to say connections would be very disappointed if she wasn’t up to going close this afternoon. In the penultimate heat the younger Mr Waley-Cohen gets his leg over The Missus. This one is extremely well bred being by Presenting and a full sister to Rajdhani Express. She was though very disappointing on debut at Newbury and is certainly on a recovery mission today. Following that run you couldn’t be that optimistic today and I would imagine that place claims are the best that she can hope for this afternoon.

In summery then am I backing either??? No. But I would say that Makadamia should certainly be competitive at the old business end of the contest. On breeding The Missus has few betters in the whole sport but must improve a lot from her debut.

On behalf of the whole, and I do mean whole, forum though I wish both Mr Waley-Cohen’s well this afternoon.

I see he’s staying ‘oooooooooooooooooop North’ and riding another 2 tomorrow. This time at Donny. Both pretty short in the market to boot.

    Wolverhampton 4.35 SECRET MILLIONAIRE 7/1

Dropping from class 4 to a seller - had a couple of bad runs on the slower surface, but sending him up to the faster track and the money will be down so take a price!

Honeyball is getting a real talent for winning on handicap debut. Another one goes in. If you're not aware of it just might be worth keeping a look out for future handicap debutantes.
