Racing today is from Catterick, Folkestone, and Southwell.

No No Bingo, from the hot Charlie Longsdon yard (18% strike race last 14 days, and nearly 24% strike rate for NH season so far, plus big profit margin, to a one pound stake, on both) should go well in the 13:40 at Folkestone. Not given a hard race last time out, and is bred to stay distance. Acts on going too. Worth a small e/w punt.

GL today everyone!

2.30 La Capriosa

This horse looks to be plotted up for this race. The horse had its seasonal break (ie the summer off) before a return to the track at Wolves (not a happy hunting ground) where it showed enough to suggest that he was still good enough for this grade.

He now returns to his beloved Southwell on a fair enough mark and he has had a race to get sharp. He is 14/1 according to Oddschecker, and as such I am just nipping outside to talk to my old foe Mr Bookmaker.

Nass: Agree, Southwell really is a "horses-for-courses" track. La Capriosa is worth a go! <ok>

Gotta love the AW. Yesterday a winner at Wovler, today a second at Southwell, hopefully. What worse race than a maiden, add a horse who's had 18 tries and still hasn't cracked it. But this is one hell of a weak race, so in the 15:00 Gorgeous Goblin EW for me. She should be on the pace most of the way and likes the track.

Well done on the DT Swanny.

Morning, all. Nothing for me today but the day is not without interest as both the maiden hurdle and the novice hurdle at old Folkestone look above average and might be worth watching with an eye to the future.

Does promise to be a better day tomorrow though with a really nice card at Newbury being the highlight – I went to the fixture 3 years ago as it was the day that the mighty Zaynar (well he was mighty in those days anyway) made his NH bow. Oh happy days! I’m sure though that many a wag will joke about there, more than likely, being a delay to the 1.25 heat tomorrow in Royal Berkshire!

Good morning all... A good looking day but a blustery one. Again not much to go at today but a few that have took my fancy...

Catterick...
12.20 Patvium, 9/2
1.50 Quel Ballistic, 5/2 NAP

Singles and a double... Good luck to all who play today... <ok>

Cor blimey what a novice hurdle at Newbury tomorrow! Mr Henderson's Ericht v Montbazon. That promises to be a total corker. Plus the Racecourse Executive must be delighted that their Graduation Chase has attracted 3 horses rated 145+ including Time For Rupert. Very nice card that promises the perfect antidote to the poor cards of the past couple of days.

Richie Mac has a great chance of a treble today at Catt
Crakenthorpe 1.20
Mr Jordain both have great chances of winning, however as red as pointed out Quel Ballistic is better of in the weights and wilson is confident

Everrad 2.20 is very well thought off and had a decent retuen just recentley so EW chance is on
Ibn Hiyyan 2.50 Richie gets the leg up as Glee and Kieth out

Oh and Hughsey wins on Time Out

Stay Frosty

Cant believe the price of Enroller in what looks a fairly weak novice hurdle, he will absolutely love the soft ground and is different class on his flat form.

Sambelucky wins today, and won this last year... Must take more note...

I see they are trimming the price on the old Dandy boys warrior. I am beginning to get a bit hopeful for La Cap
