    Horse is a bit of a rogue, so dropping weight off his back is ideal. He has looked a short runner in his races and the idea is to give him as little weight as they can.

    Paddy also has had a great relationship with the Kings Head syndicate who own the one he’s riding. He won the Persian War for them and also had a great time with Mortlach. Hence why he’s probably taking that ride.

    You can always tell the jumps season is beginning to swing into full gear when old boy Sceau Royal starts getting entries. Has been put in the Listed Hurdle at Kempton Park on Sunday.
