Which horse running tomorrow was part of a bha enquiry which stated

“An enquiry was held into the running and riding of XXX, ridden by YYY and trained by ZZZ, which was held up in rear before making some late headway in the straight to finish fifth, beaten 8 ½ lengths. The rider and the trainer’s representative were interviewed and shown recordings of the race and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities. The rider stated that his instructions were to get the gelding settled, as he has been keen in his races in Ireland, and ride the race from there. He added that XXX wasn’t travelling early in the race on the good to soft, soft in places ground, which he reported at scales on his return. He further stated that the gelding started to run on in the home straight but the leaders had got away from him and after the last he ran on through beaten horses. The trainer’s representative confirmed the instructions adding that XXX is keen at home and the rider was told to take his time. YYY was suspended for 10 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to ensure his horse was run on its merits in that he didn’t make a real or substantial effort in the home straight to obtain the best possible placing.

i see its 10/3 bookies not taking any risks with it they might give it the same kind of ride to maybe prove a point as if it bolts in tomorrow then its so blimmin obvious!
in a lower class same distance different jockey on board.....prob worth stickin it in a cheeky acca with barcelona to do the spuds tomorrow night!

Why the stewards would think that FOB would ever do anything other than play with a straight bat is frankly beyond comprehension.
 
I thought it was quite harsh and just a misjudged educational ride. To suggest it was a non trier was harsh!
 
A friend of mine is over in Barca Tnite for the spurs game and is looking to a put a bet on for the game? Obvious it’s not letting him online- I know we have had this convo before any ways of getting round the restrictions??

the standard of form from these,that had already a run over over hurdles isnt exactly high,so this can go to a newcomer,in the shape of LEADER WRITER.he was a very useful horse on the level,and is still young enough to make a decent hurdler.so,if he takes to this new discipline,surely can go well,at least e w..

a tricky race,despite only 3 horses,but LIKE THE SOUND ran a fine race two starts ago,after a long absence,and was maybe feeling the "bounce factor" next time out.so,with his yard already among the winners today,can double up here..

VOLCANO is still one of the less exposed ones here,also over this trip,and he boasts some good novice hurdle form to date,so this looks a good starting point for him..

Hope your good run continues. This lovely grey looks an ideal handicap improver. One of the nicest looking horses I’ve seen in the flesh this year
