It might of been better if the defence hadn't just tried hoofing the ball down to Jelly and actually tried to play it to the midfield.
The international break couldn't have come soon enough....Beating a poor DQPR side seems to have papered over some cracks..Drawing at home to Stoke was a good point in the circumstances..But today it seems as if there was just nothing there in the first half...No spirit, No desire or feck all......SB will have to play the role of arse kicker, as well as compassionate man in the next couple of weeks... Whilst it is not exactly head-in-the-oven time, a good display against Wet Spam is required.

I see it the other way. At times we do nothing but supply the wingbacks when we should be playing down the middle. We don't seem to have anyone capable of dribbling through the middle or playing more direct. Jelavic sits further up with no supply through the centre for large chunks of matches. From what I've seen of him, I see Hudds as a strong defensive midfielder and we need a strong attacking midfielder to sit in front of him. Aluko isn't that man right now, neither is Livermore.
