So basically if you stamp your feet and refuse to budge long enough, you don't have to leave the White House..............

Pretty much. As the interviewee says, it’s just presupposed that there will be a transition and there’s nothing really in place to prevent it from not happening. Maybe there will be another amendment coming?

Read somewhere if still in place 20th January, some members of the security service would quietly / or not so quietly escort him off the premises. Also stated that power does not have to be resident in the white house.

He will be forced out one way or the other. The world is watching and America's credibility as a democracy is at stake.

Trump is like a serial killer who refuses to say where he's buried the bodies ...

... locked up for life but trying to cling onto some power.

Trump knows he's going, just wants to string this all out as long as he can.

Him and his fellow gangsters that he calls lawyers are probably fighting to stop facing justice.

I’m beginning to wonder about his mental health.
He seems to be in denial at the moment.
Next comes anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
    Watch this space!

He just needs his arse smacked and told to stop being a spoilt brat!
..something that has never happened to him in his life before and petulant tantrums are the result...

I thought that a few weeks ago when he had a group of senior medics at the white house who were telling him how doctors and nurses were suffering trauma from watching people die horribly. The representative doctor delivered a really emotional speech to which Trump replied "does anybody want a free pen" It was an unbelievable comment and I wondered then if he was in the early stages of some type of dementia.

It would be interesting how the rest of the world would deal or view the States is Trump somehow managed to stay on in power. They turn their backs on tin pot dictators so I wonder how they would deal with this guy

I think 'mental health issues' will eventually be his Trump card used to excuse his behaviour.

If he ever ends up in court it'll he a 'Harvey Weinstein' performance.
