    Trump supporters are surrounding the Capitol building in DC after Donald Trump egged them on during his speech this morning. He told them to march up the Hill to support legislators opposing President elect Joe Biden's confirmation by the US Senate. Apparently some of the protestors have got inside the building. If the police don't get control of this situation this could turn very nasty.

    This is what happens when a country's leader encourages mob rule, Trump should be arrested for breaking his declaration of allegiance when he was sworn in as President.

    The Mayor of DC has just ordered a 6pm curfew, how will they enforce that? They need to bring in the National Guard.

    Are these protesters twinned with the mags, loads of them shouting at a building like. National Guard been called in now as well.

    USA is in meltdown. Where this ends is anyones guess.
    If it ends relatively peacefully, Trump surely must be arrested for sedition.

    Just watched s big bearded bugger smashing a window of the Capitol.
    The thought occurred to me that if these ‘protestets’ were BLM - how many of them would be shot by now ?m
    Police protection was weak as piss - heads will roll.
    Everyman and his dog knew tRump had called for a massive rally & protest - and the very Capitol is virtually wide open.
    Unbelievable.

    My first thought - was policing around the capitol building beefed up and the national guard on standby for this?

    Second thought - if it was left up to the various policemen of this forum how many of them would have insisted on the precautions mentioned in my first thought?

    US Capitol building now secure, say US officials
    US officials have announced that the Capitol Building is now secure.

    Reporters inside the Capitol say lawmakers applauded as the Sergeant at Arms conveyed the news.
