So today Donald Trump becomes the 47th President of the USA

From later today and beyond he will sign executive orders on important things such as
    Law & Order
    Patriotism
Keeping men out of women’s spaces and women’s sports
    Securing the US borders
    Deporting thousands of illegal immigrants
    Lowering taxes
Ending the DEI nonsense and woke culture
Putting pride back into being American
    And much much more

If only we had someone, anyone, who would promise the same for Britain and who could deliver

I tend to "analyse" peoples behaviour and make my own opinions and often get it right ... "often get it right" ,eans often get it wrong .. but always quick to adjust rapidly or more often over time!
When I do that..analyse ... mearly always use the "good old Duke"

Trump was a very difficult one and all in all he came out as a negative COLUMN 1 had 12 positives ... but Column 2 had 29 negatives [ highest ever I can remember for anyone or anything!!! ]

It is difficult to put him in a box, as he has a diversity of "branch's .. that dont follow a logical line.... I would if I had to, say he was a very disturbed person with a very self centered egoistic aura,
with a lack of being able to see ones faults! I would say he verges on the point of being a bully! on the good side! ..? is it good? well he spouts a good tune what people like to hear!

I think it is the first time in "god bless America" they will have a criminal in charge?!!!

Like in UK each year there are " by elections " but also dont they have intermediate SENATE/ CONGRESS ONES AS WELL? so he could lose out to to both houses being in opposition!

I'm truly glad Biden and his mob have had the boot, Trump will give the USA the freedoms they deserve but freedoms come at a cost, that is a concern, a massive benefit will be how Starmer, who lets face it is a bit thick interacts with the new regime.

I am neutral on Trump as my own views are middle road and Conservative, not Reform, I am looking forward to developments.

He will do more good in the first 24 hours of being President than Biden did in 4 years
In a poll of 2,000 Americans who were asked what will Biden be remembered for, the overwhelming answer was ‘nothing’

The asshole wants to put a 25% tariff on most Canadian exports to the U.S. and the devastation that would cause to our economy is totally horrendous and unwarranted at any level. The trade between us and them has always been huge and benefits both of us equally but Trump will never accept that as he want's to be the one who destroys others and grins smugly as he goes about his business. The impact of his presidency on us won't stop at trade alone and the risks to our sovereignty could also be on the chopping block in Chump's thinking and that would be catastrophically insane but when you are dealing with this lunatic everything you don't want is up for his grabs. Forget about Biden because the big kahuna is now in charge and the old adage of being careful what you wish for is out the window because this man has evil intent to change the American Constitution to suit his and the Republican Party way of thinking about control of everything that is sacred. Canada will retaliate with our own cross-border tariff increase and that will hurt American businesses that rely on Canadian supplies to foster their own businesses but Trump won't even consider that as a downside. Natural gas and oil are big on our list of retaliations but regrettably that hurts us just as much, but we have to take a stand and I hope that we don't sit back and take his nonsense or bullshit.

THE TRUE NORTH STRONG AND FREE

This is a recent sign on a business in Vancouver that was recently removed because it was deemed to be hate speech.

Always neighbours - never neighbors. Give me break please. :headbang::emoticon-0146-punch:emoticon-0153-broke<doh>

Remember, Adolf Hitler did brilliant things for Germany at first.
Donald Trump is a very VERY dangerous man.
Starmer is a ****er, but Trump could destroy the world.
I saw some of his pre-inauguration speech yesterday and he was talking about TikTok. He basically said he would allow TikTok to operate in the US as long as they gave the US half their profits.
Isn’t that abuse of office? Like a local council offering to grant a trading licence - only in return for a huge backhander.

Trump fully understands what abuse of power is and he should be in jail because of his antics during the last election which essentially was treason no matter which way you think. He really wants to put some of his detractors during the Biden regime in prison and one of his real targets is Fauci who held the U.S. during the Covid pandemic whereas Trump wanted to inject all citizens with bleach to cure the disease and didn't believe in the medical evidence that showed that vacicnes were the answer. On the Tik-Tok debate he will allow anyone to operate in the U.S. as long as he is cut in on the deal and if they don't meet his personal criteria they will be banned and goodness knows what Musk has on his agenda but it won't involve decent citizens who want anything different. Most of his top brass who have never held a political position also have their own agendas and goodness knows what harm they will do. Kennedy as health secretary is an absolute joke as he believes the same as Chump on vaccines and other debatable health issues and most of the policies that are intended will take away even more coverage for the average joe and cost considerably more money whilst the elite such as the Republican brass will get all they want in place of the peons. The man is a world class hater of everything he hears from his competitors and will destroy lives at the drop of a hat and if you want confirmation then just ask his ex-employees at his various bankrupt businesses including casinos and all in between whose lives were ruined by Herr Trump without a single thought as to their plight. I must confess it will be interesting to see what of his declarations will come to pass but my biggest concern is the international fall-out which will be horrendous. We can only watch on and hope to hell he backs off on some of his declarations but regrettably he rarely retreats from his dictates and therein lies the greatest terror.

Time will tell and history will decide what Donald Trump did, or didn’t achieve as President

But I believe the world will be a safer and more sane place with him in charge

Putting the needs of his own people before giving money to the rest of the world, the truth of there only being 2 sexes, stopping the DEI nightmare which is just a sick joke, and ending the suicidal rush for net zero gets my vote and then some, and that’s just the start

Run the country like a business
    Stop the waste
    Reform elements that dont work
Use the natural resources beneath your feet to avoid reliance on other countries for energy

    Simples

And brilliant to see the loathing on the face of Harris as she had to sit through the inauguration through gritted teeth.
    Love it !!

The pre-emptive pardons to 2,000 people that Biden has handed out including Dr Fauci dating back to 2014, and Mark Millie are shameful
Millie was going to warn China of any American military actions

Both should be in jail for life imho

Trump has pardoned Jan 6th rioters as well which I don't necessarily agree with, but there's still loads of questions on what actually happened that day and the lack of security around the capitol building despite it being asked for.

As I've said before, Trump has his faults and plenty of them, but I'm convinced he will get the majority of the big calls right.

Rupert Lowe is a breath of fresh air in politics :emoticon-0148-yes:

The time for thoughts and prayers from politicians has long finished. Actions, not words, are now necessary. Stop tolerating those who hate us, stop harbouring those who wish to do us harm, stop welcoming those who refuse to accept our values. Don't just talk about it. Act.

Rupert Lowe really tells it as it is and doesn't take any prisoners. He's even more forthright than Farage.

I'm far closer to Trump than Starmer.

This morning Starmer's all over the media saying he's going to make our streets safe.
    What a ****ing joke.
It's his left wing wokery that allowed Pakistani gangs to flourish in their vile pursuit of young white girls and will he ever allow statistics in London of black stabbing statistics.
How many gangs have been smashed since last July and unlike Trump he scared stiff to differentiate between a man and a women.
Starmer is a dead ringer for Biden and will finish in exactly the same way.
