We have to knock the cross threads on the head. Who is it serving? I reackon it wont be long before Mick pulls the plug on the whole shooting match. Speedster roped it months ago and we are still hitting the Geordies. I think it's time to let it slide. The board was fine before Geordiegate and it will be fine after. Newcastle is the biggest board ffs, lets do Mick a favour. Why the **** they cannot just ban cross GC/Geordie threads is a mystery to me.
Ciaran, I empathise, but that's not the whole problem. They're banning everyone from their board yet they're free to come here and try to noise the GC population up without any repercussion. There's too many trigger happy people with buttons on here. Eddie shouldn't have been banned. Blocked from their board, possibly, but banned - very harsh. It seems GC has had to conceed quite a bit since the new posters (some who are cracking guys and gals btw) came over. And that's fair enought. It's all one way though. That's what sticks in the craw. Again, I see where you're coming from, but I believe if that wee rybo character hadn't started his pish on here tonight, Eddie wouldn't have done the cross board thingy. A level playing field, just like wot the SPL is. That's all we ask. Kumba-ya my Lord, Kumba-ya.
The place is going down the ****ter without the cross threads. Mick overstretched himself. He wanted a forum that was the opposite of 606 but it's grown too big and, outside of GC, it's basically just 606 Mk 2. The worst thing he ever did was put that fat blob in charge of the site. Mick's already put out a thread on the Mod board a couple of weeks ago saying he's close to jacking it in but it has nothing to do with GC.
Seems to be 90% GC fault, they always the ones posting cross board threads. Must of been just one from a Geordie(whos now left) since the whole thing started.
Then I propose the roping (no pun) off of the Geordie board. They cannot come on here and we cannot go on there. They take it all very serious you know. Mick will walk away soon, mark my words.
I think most of them have moved on to another site now. This was their swansong, sending a 16 year old to 'sort us oot'.
You do have to wonder if adults actually use this site... It's a faceless internet forum for **** sake! They done this, they done that! Whataboutery at it's best! Grow the **** up!
