From Facebook Troy Deeny............... medical at qpr today saw him at training ground this morning watford Striker Is this true or not? Edit: looks our sort of player!!! from Wiki On 25 June 2012, Deeney was sentenced to ten months' imprisonment for affray for kicking a man in the head in a brawl. He was released after serving almost three months of the sentence, after showing his remorse, and since he was a first time offender.
one goal in four games and half his career was in L1. There is nothing to suggest hed be good enough to step up if we go up. at 25 hes not exactly one for the future either. sounds like more made up bollocks. FB is about as reliable at twitter usually.
I hope so, but he's apparently been seen at our training ground and is undergoing a medical. Some good news though, Carlton Cole has signed an 18 month contract at West Ham.
Yes, but 63 matches and 30 goals during the last season and the current one in the Championship.....However facebook is as reliable as daily mail or north korean propaganda
And just as reliable, Twitter! We Talk Transfers ‏@WeTalkTransfers 17m BREAKING NEWS: QPR set to announce the signing of Watford striker Troy Deeney
Would be very happy with this signing. Excellent striker at this level, banged loads of goals in last couple seasons. Him and Vydra last year were best partnership in the league. He’s also strong enough to play up front on his own which we need so we aren’t too exposed tactically if Austin gets injured (touch wood). Remember seeing him interviewed after prison last year. He obviously had a look at himself, became religious (muslim I think) and since then has done really well and is still improving Our aim at the moment is to get promoted and he will definitely help us do that. 11 goals in the league this year, same as Austin
Just been taking a look at some of his goals on youtube, looks as strong as an ox and certainly knows where the goal is! Hopefully to replace Zamora!!
Thanks for the report Peter !! sounds interesting. Like the sound of a big strong forward, that Phillips, Kranky, and Benayoun can feed off

Checked him out on YouTube and he certainly knows where the net is. He looks very mobile for a big strong lad and at 25 he has his best years ahead of him. Can't always tell from watching a video though!!
Nice right foot, great headers, and can take penalties...sign the lad !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yp_6fCGjwBM
Positive news if true - looked effective on the couple of times I've seen him (which included that injury time winner in last years play-off semi against Leicester)
