I really feel for the fans of Truro but you can't help but wonder where Heaney's cash has gone. Below he pleads for local businesses to help and also says without a new stadium they could be finished! http://www.thisiscornwall.co.uk/Hea...es-need-cash/story-13844958-detail/story.html
You would just love for Heaney's wheels to come off completely wouldn't you but that is tempered for me with the thought that the club has supporters and I would not want them to go through what we have had to.
What kind of prat kicks up a fuss when there is a problem envisaged after he fails to pay agreed sums to our staff and the bid when he obviously couldn't afford to pay staff at his current club? I hope the problem is quickly resolved in terms of Truro going under, and there being a permanent black spot next to his name in the footballing world.
As sensible says GreenArmy - Its the supporters we should feel sympathy for. I would like him to be removed from the world of football as well but not at the cost of another club.
Another update: http://www.thisiscornwall.co.uk/Truro-City-players-brink-wages/story-13873834-detail/story.html Even the players think he is full of ****.
Doesn't seem like good news for them does it. Why oh why does football attract these people. When you think that Truro were showing signs of being possibly the first league club from Cornwall and now it seems the wheels are about to come off. It must already be gutting for their fans without the possibility that they will fold. The story that Heaney is coming out with sounds all too familiar to us doesn't it.
