His loan is up after are next game, does any know if we can extened it? With him and bevon mayb are only change of staying up???
basey, trotta and rowlands all need thier loans extending in my view, all 3 are class players and certainly trotta's goals could be vital in keeping us up
Is there really any point extending the Rowlands deal? Class player on his day maybe but far too injury prone now and struggles to complete 30 minutes let alone 90. Basey and Trotta are well worth keeping though.
With Rowlands I've not seen him play, but maybe wait to see what is wrong Donnelly and how long he could be out. But we do need to keep Basey and Trotta.
Got to try and keep Trotta. He looks like he gives us that added class and compliments Beavon's style. Only a plonker wouldnt want to keep Rodney
he is nicknamed rodney on the terrace.although his chant could be better................... marchello wooooh marchello whooooh he comes from italy hes got a big willie marchello
Fulham fan in peace. Just checking in to find out how young Trotta is getting on - from the above comments it sounds like he's making a good impression. What would you say are his strengths and what are the areas that he needs to improve on? In a discussion on our board, some are speculating on whether we should give him a chance in the first team, with Zamora blowing hot and cold (mostly cold in the last handful of games, to be honest), with others calling for him to get more experience out on loan. If Fulham didn't extend his loan, do you think he would be capable of playing at Premier League level yet?
Probably a little to early to put him in against a Premiership defence. The lad certainly has talent, holds the ball up well and has a good shot on him. He looks very comfortable at this level and although this sounds selfish, he would probably benefit from a good run in a team like ours rather than risk floundering in a prem team
He's rubbish captain. He'll be useless in the Premiership. Your best bet is to extend his loan with Wycombe. Please.
looks like a real exciting prospect, not quite premier league yet but certainly not far off. what could do him good (and im not just saying it for us) would be a run in a first team to prove himself, league 1 is a better place to do this that fulham reserves. so with that in mind, can we have him for teh rest of the season
Thanks for the feedback, lads. I agree that at this stage Trotta would do better getting first team games at your level than in our reserves. On a personal level, I'm hoping the loan gets extended - I live in Bournemouth and I'm hoping to be at your match there on Jan 2nd. If there's a Fulham loanee on display, it will add an extra level of interest for me. I'd like to see him play well and score a couple as the Cherries edge you out in a high-scoring thriller! Apart from that match, I wish you (and Marcello) nothing but good for the rest of the season.
I think I saw that Trotta's final game for us would be against Preston. If that's the case, it's bad news.
