    Not sure I'm happy about this.

    We need total focus on what we're doing and don't need these distractions. If there was a stronger manager in place it I may have a different view, but we need Trollope full time with us!!!!!

    Saw that and totally agree with you. Diluting Trollope's time at the club with this appointment is the last thing we need.

    It may be a "feather in the cap" moment for the bloke, but I'd have preferred him 100% committed to his employers CCFC going into this Championship season - especially with Slade still at the helm.

    It's one thing when you lose a couple players on international duty. Losing your coach is totally different. Also, the coach is likely to be watching players and discussing tactics outside training camps and games. Far more disruptive. The more I think about it, the less happy I am about it.

    Come to think about it, do they want Slade as an assistant? :emoticon-0105-wink:

    Saying that, wouldn't want to blight our chances of a major tournament.:steam:
