Trolling our club... = small comfort

NUFC keep trying to sell me retro kits via Facebook and email and I've now taken to wumming them a little.
If you look carefully the 'retro kits' aren't actually the same as the original ones (see below) as there isn't a manufacturer's mark.
Even worse, on their website they have a shot of Bez and Daviiid celebrating in the Dennis the Menace shirt and they have photoshopped the Adidas logo OUT to try to pull the wool over the fans eyes by making out what they are pedalling is the same as the original.
On FB I regularly ask them where the manufacturers logo has gone and ask them if they can supply me a REAL one etc....
Just another example of how the lard arse is pulling the wool over our eyes and trying to con us for financial gain.

I saw Stevie Taylor at Kingston Park M&S yesterday, he looked well....so I kicked him.

 

You're clutching Albert. Can really see the end of season cracks appearing. Nobody puts the manufacture on retro kits if they're not with the brand now

Do all clubs doctor old photos of players to remove the original logos though? It's comical that our **** house goes to that length to try to make a few quid.
I'd have more respect for them if they just hung the shirt up and didn't try to deceive.
That is the worst part for me... as I mentioned in the OP.

 

Good point fella. Never heard of that being done before. In fact looking at clubs websites no club is being daft enough to show old action shots of the kits. Just not necessary is it?

 

Probably puma are making them on the sly and have told the club to push them hard due to the monumental effect on shirt sales putting wonga on the front has had.

 

It's plain wrong for the club to doctor old photos to try to pass off modern shirts as authentic.

This, sadly is now the nature of the beast we have to deal with.

 

Score Draw do most of the official retro tops fella, doubt Newcastle are any different. There's no incentive for Puma to push them.

 

I'd not noticed the fiddling of the photo before but I ain't surprised with the FCB.
