In true QPR luck, following on from our 3-0 win 3 players have been side lined with injuries. Rob Green, Jenas and Traore.
Ahhhhhh but now we are back to our winning ways, it gives 3 follow team members the chance to shine as we push forward to seasons' end. Could it be that Morrison is the spark to ignite our push for promotion. I say our glass is half full, not half empty.
QPR keeper Rob Green has been sent for a scan after suffering a suspected rib injury during this afternoon's win against Yeovil. The 34-year-old was forced off midway through the second half at Loftus Road, with his replacement Brian Murphy making his league debut between the sticks. Green is likely to miss Tuesday's game with Sheffield Wednesday and will undergo a scan to assess the full extent of the damage. Armand Traore and Jermaine Jenas also suffered hamstring injuries which should see them sidelined for the trip to Hillsborough at least. Assistant manager Kevin Bond said: “We’ve taken a few knocks today, which is obviously a concern, but overall it has been a good day for us. “Rob got a whack on his chest, Ravel [Morrison] was feeling his groin, JJ had to come off and Traore. We’re going to have to assess them and hope they’ll be okay.” I see the other bloke got a game how was he
I think we can still sign a keeper on loan before the end of March if necessary. When you consider how much we've paid in keeper's wages this season it's a ludicrous position to be in...
A quick phone call and he should be back in a jiffy ................... Cesar as a history of how much this club means to him and besides, where still paying most of his wages so we should be able to recall him. However, I'd rather give Murphy a go.
**** Cesar. I'd rather see Murphy in net than give that clown the satisfaction of feeling the returning hero.
I believe it would be cheaper to bring in a one month emergency loan GK, than bring back Cesar (if that is at all possible, depends on terms of loan).
Very good Mr Bond. Clearly shaken but not stirred. Now, any chance you could give us a theory or two about why our players keep dropping like flies, particularly with hamstrings? Have you modified your stretching routines since the mid-eighties? Time for a refresher course perhaps?
So lets make a list of all our players that are currently out Now:-Rob Green, Jenas, Doyle and Traore. Season ending injuries (although...some may be back):- Faulin, Simpson, Austin, Philips, AJ longish term on/off injuries : Hoillet, Zamora, Ned, Niko, Benni Are you still on the payroll sort of injuries ...Bloody Luke Young What exactly are you doing sort of question...SWP If you forget about BLY and SWP....that is 15 players....9 (NINE!!!!!) OF WHOM ARE FIRST TEAM PLAYERS WHO WILL NOT PLAY ON TUESDAY That is the reason we are 4th
Maybe so mate, but we're alrready going to look pretty stupid when he picks up the World Cup in a few months time. Be nice to say he plays for QPR as he carries it off?!
