I avoided making a knee jerk reaction comment yesterday (a first for me) this morning I feel as confused about it all as I did yesterday after yet another humiliating defeat.

Before the season started I was accused by a couple of people as being too pessimistic, now my worse fears have fully materialised, no marquee signings, only average squad player signings, no harder to break down and beat than last season, humiliating defeats still haunt us, takeover no closer and quality on the pitch is abysmal.

It is easy to blame everything on Bates, I still want him out of our club, I called for Warnock to be in charge however I think we are rotten from the top down. We have a chairman unwilling to invest and a manager who wastes what little money he had on players like Gray (why loan Poleon out) and Peltier. Did we really pay in the region of £700k for him?

Why do we constantly play players out of position and yesterday three substitutions with 45 minutes still to play, what was NW thinking of.

For me a new owner along with a new manager is the only option. Look at our results from January onwards, Warnock has lead us to some pretty humiliating results at home.

Jerel pointed out earlier in the season the horrific handling of players being placed on the transfer list, I just look back now and think Clayton or Peltier, make Snoddy play out his contract why keep playing Varney, lots of questions leading to poor management.

I have had enough of both Bates and Warnock, it is a complete shambles, the season is over already. I don't even give a toss about GFH now, mark my words, they will invest no more than Bates, they haven't got the money, simple as that.

The best thing that could happen to us is for GFH to piss off and stop messing us around and the rumours surrounding the new American interested party to buy us and put funds and a new manager in place for January. A manager that can lay some foundations for a full on assault next season with a style of football that we can push forward with.

When we were first making a move for Peltier he was a bargain price of around £400k We had been plagued by the RB position all season, Peltier at £400k at RB was an improvement on what we had. Peltier at £700k at left back isn't what I had expected, he hasn't been too bad at CB and he is till better than what we had. However better than what we had shouldn't have been hard to improve on when you look at our defence last season.

Agree mostly ristac. I still think the players we have (and I'm including the full development squad and academy here) is good enough to compete: I think Warnock's mouth has lost him the players. He has been very uncomplimentary about them. It's not going to get them to play better.

I'd like us to play the kids, practically all the way through. They can't do worse than this lot at the moment

NW did say that he would walk if he did not have the fans behind him and if we had no chance of promotion by Christmas. Well Neil - Christmas has come early for ya - what ya gonna do?

I for one believe GFH will invest in the club more than Bates ever has. No-one knows whats gone on during TOMA and to turn on the new owners before they have got their foot in the door is pathetic. There is no American taking us over just more of Castles bullshit. We will have new owners next week for sure and i will back them until they give me reason not to.

I agree we need a modern younger manager with a long term plan to get us back to where we want to be. Investment or not Warnock is not the man to take us forward, his team selections and tactics are terrible. Just picking Aidy White every week says it all for me.

I have never been fully behind GFH and I have always questioned if they actually have a pot to piss in. I don't believe for a second that the delay is with Bates, yes he might have pissed around at the start but the tweets and suggestions from Haigh and co over recent weeks is a joke. I truly believe the delay is with the possible new owners, I have said it before and I will say it again, Snoddy knew something was wrong after they (prospective owners) spoke with him pleading for him to stay and he still said no thank you.

Snoddy wanted out end of, nothing to do with new owners.
GFHC were probably not even the original buyers either if reports are true. The delay may well be with GFHC but that's not suprising if they are trying to sort their way through the multitude of holdings Bates has set up. They may well have had to look for new backers as well if the original consortium walked.
This takeover has taken a long time yes but no one knows why, GFHC are being made another scapegoat by frustrated fans.
Its claimed Leeds have loaned up to 17 mill in the last year to keep us going, without GFHC we are gonna be well and truly fooked.
I believe GFHC will t/o the club this week. Super confident.

All GFH have to do is cut off any loss making unnecessary side projects like Yorkshire Radio and this stupid corporate hospitality business that's failing miserably, cut out any other unnecessary costs like the money going missing and money being spent on stupid **** like ground improvements and law suits, and pump the millions saved into the academy and funding transfers.

Sounds pretty simple to me and with that in mind GFH won't NEED any extra money, except maybe to buy back TA and ER.

Andrew Haigh says 14.5 million loaned in the last 12 months not 17 million. We're still fooked without t/o.

When they get in the way of creating a competitive squad they are.

Surely allowing Bates to watch the match in comfort is more important than putting together a decent squad?

Bates said it was more important for him to build facilities than building a team<ok>

Ground improvements for the masses of match going supporters are great. Ground improvements that cater to corporate prawn sandwich eaters who don't even want to use the facilities are a useless waste of money

2 things stand out for me with regard to Warnock and Bates. Firstly Warnock told us last season after getting battered, 'You'll never see another performance from a leeds team like that again'. Well we did mate thanks.

Secondly Bates has emptied the kitty for years and his idea of taking out loans to develop the east stand, were stupid. That cash should have been invested in the team last season so we had a chance at promotion. Promotion means almost £100m for a club, but he decided to waste it on a white elephant development that wouldn't earn the club anything until we were in the prem. The man's a cretin a robber and bastard

The latest news is that there's a £1.5 million mortgage from Enterprise Insurance for the development of the East Stand, set against the income of the corporate hospitality business that is undoubtedly on its arse.

Why are we taking out loans? Where the **** is all our money going? We had 33 million turnover that season and **** all of it was spent on player wages. Most of it went missing in "other costs". All the players sold, where did all that money go? Agent fees? **** off. Overheads of unused and injured players still on the books? No, or we'd be able to build a decent sized, competitive squad.

It's just disappearing into thin air. Embezzling, sorry old fat bearded **** with nobodies interests but his own in mind. What an absolute ****. People like him are why the world is in the state that it's in, just can't keep their hands of "their share" that they've the god given right to take. In this delusional world they live in where they believe they deserve their share more than anybody else despite doing **** all to earn it. Just like the bankers who are getting massive bonuses during a recession that they caused.
