. . . Academy on the lookout for stars of the future The Swansea City Academy is conducting a series of trials to identify and recruit footballers of the future. The Swans are looking for young stars at Under-9, Under-10 and Under-11 age groups to join two days of trials at the Academy in Landore on August 26/27. Anyone wanting to take part must apply no later than Friday, August 22. To apply, please email Academy Co-Ordinator, Anthony Avo ([email protected]) The first fifty players in each age category to respond via email will be invited to the respective trial. Please provide name of player, age and parental email. Under-9s - Tuesday, August 26 (10.30am-12pm) Under-10 - Wednesday, August 27 (10.30am-12pm) Under-11 - Wednesday, August 27 (10.30am-12pm) What to bring: Footwear for 3G Water bottle Playing kit Wet top Shin pads Please be advised that unfortunately we are unable to accommodate spectators, including parents, at our Landore facility. Security and Academy staff will escort the players onto the training pitch to register. The players will be supervised at all times by Academy staff. Please ensure cars are parked outside on the main road and not in the Bowls private car park.
