I have just read that Isiah Osbourne (Who was on trial with us in pre-season) has signed for Hibs.

I wonder what has happened to J Lloyd Samuel. Surely he is better than Connely? If so why hasnt he signed or will as I suspect he end up elsewhere shortly.

As for Forest signing Derbyshire on a free - that is the signing of a board with a bit of ambition.

I hate Bates bashing but this transfer window has left us trailing behind the likes of Crawley Town in Terms of expenditure let alone the Leicesters and Forests of this world!!!

It comes to something when as many as 10 teams from lower leagues have spent more (Transfer fee outlay) than us, Leeds United in the Championship........Speaks volumes...

Samuel got injured and we cancelled his trial. He's a left back so the comparison with Connolly is pointless.

OK fair point on Samuel, it does seem worrying though that players like Keith Andrews are turning us down and are now on the verge of signing for Ipswitch......

Bates and Harvey thought they could shave a few grand off what they were offering players by selling the status of playing for a club like Leeds. That doesn`t interest anyone now, and we are losing players because of it, Lonergan originally being one of them before we went back to him.

Not true about Lonegran, that was the original belief among fans but the reason the deal was delayed was because his daughter was in hospital.

Samuel went to and played for West Ham ina pre-season friendly only days after Leeds claimed he was injured. More lies...........
