Reading the match report on the OS last night and I noticed that there were a number of trialist on display; former Barnet keeper Jake Cole, some strikers called N'byie (or something similar) and a defender whose name escapes me at the moment. The player who intrigued me most was Cole, Hessy has said earlier that he was happy to have young Hawkes as the number 2 between the sticks and yet we are looking at another keeper, seems a little odd, especially since we are trying to keep the squad size down
Cole was probably recommended by Hendon who had him at Barnet. I would think we may sign him to challenge Flitney for the No1 spot. The Jason Brown signing is probably dead in the water, as I think we would have signed him by now. The two outfield trailists N'byie and Barnett ,I can't see being kept. Barnett was fine but we're well covered in tha position and N'byie looks Ryman League standard.
