Bit tricky to get to and from is the Amex, and I only live a few miles away, its worse getting away from the ground, Brighton and away supporters all head by train to btn station to catch a connection. Anyone here going ? If you want a drink or bite to eat best get off at btn station and head into town, its not easy getting much close to the ground, only pub anything like close is the Swan, other than that you have to go to ground to Dicks bar ( I kid you not ) or inside to the usual outlets. I shall go into town then catch the train to Falmer. Praying for a win ! COYR`s
Taking half a day off. Plan to get there early for a few pints by the sea. Not too hopeful of a positive result though. A Brightom fan on LFW said getting away from the ground isn't so bad now.
Well as I said I only live down the road, and as thr R`s were away and my kids school had a school day out having bought a block of tickets, I went to Brighton v Wigan found it slow getting to brighton station, and Wigan didn`t bring a huge support, still not to worry lets hope for a good game, I think the last time we won away to Brighton Mathew Rose got a last min screamer to make it 3-2 the R`s
I'm there tomorrow, can't decide whether it's best for me to drive or get the train. Where's the best place to park if driving. I was thinking of going to Lewes and getting the train one stop to Falmer.
I am driving down and staying with family in Patcham then getting a football coach with mates. They all say its a nightmare Son works at Stamner House i will check out parking there I have no idea where i am sitting but it cost £38 but haven't seen ticket
we'll see you there nines!!!! Parking is a nightmare near the stadium, plenty of parking wardens around so dont park illegally. Probably best to use park & ride or the train
Thanks lads. If I get the train I have to go back into London and out again, which is fine but I can't miss the connection on the way home. I might park in Haywards Heath and get the train in from there.
