As the day Sun 27-Oct 1.30 pm draws closer, has everybody decided how they're going to get to the S.O.S?

The club usually put coaches on from SJP, but it'll be a lot easier for some to make their own travel arrangements rather than travel into town. Parking is going to be a major problem in Sunderland and I wouldn't have any B&W colour's visible in the car (just as a precaution), and of course getting away after the game is going to be a real pain too.

It takes me almost as long to get into town as it would to get to Sunderland but I'll be playing safe and going with whatever travel the club put on.

THanks to the antics of the last game, travel has been made simpler with one method being ruled out.

Wouldn't want the poor old horses to break the strike to get me to the game, I'll find another means of transport.

Wasn't a great deal of them left, the visitors before us had been using them as frisbees.

Here you go guys, you heard it here first.

Ticket sales for this season's trip to the dark place on Sunday October 27th at 1.30pm are now underway, with the loyalty point threshold initially set at 100 points.

This will drop to 90 on Monday (7th Oct) and to 80 on Wednesday (9th Oct) with further points reductions yet to be confirmed.

Ticket prices remain unchanged from last season: £39 adults, £26 seniors (65+), £15 for juniors (under-16s).

The size of the allocation has not been announced but as was the case last season, Newcastle fans will again be housed in the upper sections of the North Stand.

Escorted bus transfers to and from the game will again run and the club are again charging for these - although claiming that the £4 per head charge will go straight to charity and in reality NUFC are footing the entire bill.

Last year fans were charged £5.

Buses leave from SJP at 11am and these can be booked online now via NUFC.

Is the Metro running that day? There's a lot of weekend work going on at the moment, it's going to be closed down in certain areas.

I have even heard they are opening shearers bar at 7.00am on the day so they can get tanked up before the journey - but strictly for under 16s of course <laugh>

This suggests you intend to get naked with one of them, this is highly dangerous.

You guys seem a little bitter and twisted have your womenfolk (assuming you have womenfolk and indeed are of that persuasion of course) been playing away with six fingered sex beasts?

A little private joke that you obviously don't understand.
