Brilliantly timed. Who could've foreseen a team from Manchester or Liverpool reaching the FA Cup semi-finals?
UTD fans live in London, so it matters not. Everton fans live in London as well Chavbus FC and ££££ dont have any fans
Yeah holding the game in Manchester would be dead fair mate. There'll be 90,000 there who'd probably disagree with you btw, including me
Biggest ground in the NW, I think, apart from theirs so makes sense to me. Everton still get half the gate so what difference if it's Manchester, Sheffield or Leeds etc.? Still think it takes something away from the final to have the semis there.
For this game you couldn't use the Etihad, so it'd be Villa park, which would still mean travel and it's half the capacity of Wembley. I think the view about not using Wembley is outdated traditionalism
Why couldn't you use the Etihad? Why would it therefore be Villa Park? Just play it on the day City aren't playing. I'm not sure you'd have that view if Everton were regularly making finals.
Fair enough that fans of clubs like Everton would think like this. Once in a generation opportunity to visit the big smoke for many
So both clubs need to travel from the North West down to Londonistan to play the semi when they could have played nearer to home. Logic from a ****** if you ask me
I can't for the life of me see what is wrong with the Etihad. Full of Everton and Utd supporters it would be fine.
