The lads on the QPR board are talking about it too, apparently it's close to happening. Now, the loan is good for Armand. But, this leaves us even thinner at one of the weakest positions in our team - left back. If we loaned out Armand for the season, we'd have Gibbs as our only natural left back. Ofcourse, we could put Vermaelen, Sagna or Jenkinson there but we shouldn't be patching a defence up like that if we have the money and resources to actually sign someone. Long story short, is one of our three potential signings going to be a left back? Baines? Cissokho? Having Gibbs as our only left back for a whole season is quite a scary thought, no matter how much potential he has.
