arsenal left has signed a 3year contract, lets hope he can settle in well & forget about last weeks result. we wish him well.
Traore: I had to leave Arsenal Armand Traore says the chance to play regular football at QPR meant he had to leave Arsenal. The left-back, part of a defence that shipped eight against Manchester United on Sunday, found himself surplus to requirements at Emirates Stadium. He played at Old Trafford only because of a defensive crisis and, having managed just a handful of league appearances in five years at the club, as well as being sent on loan to Juventus, Traore has been moved on by Arsene Wenger. And after signing a three-year deal at Loftus Road, Traore said: "When I talked to Neil Warnock he was very passionate about what I could bring to the club. "He was very motivated about playing me week in, week out, and that's what I need at this stage of my career. "I've not been able to prove and show what I'm all about because I've been at two big, big clubs like Juventus and Arsenal." iReader
Very good signing and a player i have rated for years. Have always hoped we could get him in on loan in the past. Neil Warnock keeps true to his words, permanent signings and not loans. Well done Neil, Tony and everyone else involved
We need two full backs and we have them which Im very happy about. So that's three signings. At least one more to come. I hope for two more. SWP would be great, we need a good wide player. And then one more, a marquee signing. Crouch, Parker or someone we havent thought about. That will be great. Still a day and a half to go!
Touché. I thought Gabbidon played well at Wigan and Everton and would do well with more of a ball player like Dann alongside him. A defence of Traore, Gabbidon, Dann and Young would be a good mix of youth and experience. I just can't stand Hall's ability to injure himself in every 50:50 tackle virtually begging to be subbed off on saturday when the only defender on the bench was a kid with no experience whatsoever.
As a Pompey fan, I can confirm that Traore is a very good young attacking left back, with tremendous pace ! We had him on loan from Arsenal for a season (in the happier days when we were in the Premier League !), competing with Nadir Belhadj for the left back slot. They played well together when Belhadj moved forward to the left wing. He should do well for you. Good luck for the season, and keep Tommy Smith fit !
Brilliant : ] I liked his interview on QPRplayer too, seems to have exactly the right attitude- could become a fans favourite!(might be nice for Tarbs as well?)
Traore can satisfy QPR’s need for speed http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...=#qpr&utm_content=#qpr&utm_source=twitterfeed
