Mixed news for Rangers ahead of daunting Man Utd clash please log in to view this image 06/04/2012 by David McIntyre Armand Traore has failed to shake off a hamstring problem in time for QPRâs trip to face Manchester United. Traore hoped to return to action this weekend but is still recovering from the injury he suffered during the recent victory over Liverpool. But manager Mark Hughes has confirmed that forwards Heidar Helguson and DJ Campbell are in the squad. Both players returned to action in a midweek reserve game and their availability is a timely boost for Rangers given that Djibril Cisse is suspended, although Helguson is less likely to play than Campbell. Hughes said: âTheyâre both in the squad and theyâre an option. DJ is probably ahead of Heidar as heâs had more training.â http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/mixed-news-for-rangers-ahead-of-daunting-man-utd-clash/
I dont see that as correct, if Zamora is injured HH will have to come on, DJ may come on if we go to 442 or Taarabt or Mackie come off. Hughes just means DJ if fitter than HH at the moment.
Now that Taiwo has settled in he looks better defensively than Traore and Taarabt looks best on the left too. I'd be amazed if he changes the team no matter how much Campbell and Helguson have trained but they're better options off the bench than Bothroyd.
